The Rogers. Aguilas Music Fest. 30-08-2019

Finalizando Agosto, y con un calor digno de los veranos de la Región de Murcia, The Rogers formaron parte del I Aguilas Music Fest. Un festival organizado como concurso de Bandas y con la actuación final de Lady ma Belle, como cabeza de cartel. The Rogers actuaron en último lugar, justo antes del cabeza de cartel.
Las bases del concurso consistían en hacer un repertorio de 20 minutos, y, si te pasabas de ese tiempo quedabas descalificado,, compartiendo el backline existente (The Rogers tuvieron muchos problemas con el sonido de la batería, de la caja, que, al cabo de 3 temas, se pudo subsanar), . Por otro lado, la elección del ganador dependía del público asistente y de un jurado. El público tenía que votar justo al finalizar las actuaciones de los participantes.
Todos los temas que presentaron The Rogers fueron temas propios. Sin duda, fue un gran concierto y un gran festival.

At the end of August, and with a heat worthy of the summers of the Region of Murcia, The Rogers were part of the I Aguilas Music Fest. A festival organized as a Bands contest and with the final performance of Lady ma Belle, as headliner. The Rogers were the last band to play, just before the headliner.
The bases of the contest consisted of making a repertoire of 20 minutes, and, if you went beyond that time, you were disqualified, sharing the existing backline (The Rogers had many problems with the sound of the drums, the snare drum, which, after of 3 songs, could be rectified),. On the other hand, the choice of the winner depended on the audience and a jury. The public had to vote right at the end of the participants' performances.
All the songs presented by The Rogers were their own songs. Without a doubt, it was a great concert and a great festival.

The Rogers. Live at El Fielato Restaurant. Abanilla. 13-07-2019

Tercera vez que The Rogers actúan en El Fielato Restaurante (fantástico lugar para comer y cenar).
Fue un concierto en 2 partes de uns 45 minutos donde The Rogers presentaron gran parte de su repertorio, así como, temas nuevos (siempre guardamos un tema nuevo para este lugar). Además, incluimos algunas versiones de David Bowie (Heroes), Steppenwolf (Born to be wild), Rolling Stones (It's only rock'n'roll), T-Rex (Get it on), The Kinks (Lola) y Chuck Berry (una versión de Johny B Godded: Rogers be good).
Los comensales disfrutaron de la actuación y, en algunos momentos, compartieron micrófono con nosotros.
Agradecer a El Fielato Restaurante que hayan vuelto a contar con nosotros.

Third time that The Rogers perform at El Fielato Restaurant (fantastic place for lunch and dinner).
It was a concert in 2 parts of a 45 minutes where The Rogers presented a large part of their repertoire, as well as, new themes (we always keep a new theme for this place). In addition, we include some versions from David Bowie (Heroes), Steppenwolf (Born to be wild), Rolling Stones (It's only rock'n'roll), T-Rex (Get it on), The Kinks (Lola) and Chuck Berry ( a version of Johny B Godded: Rogers be good).
Diners enjoyed the performance and, at times, shared the microphone with us.

The Rogers. II Levante Connection Fest, Alicante. 14-06-2019

 

The Rogers en el II Levante Connection Fest, organizado por United Sounds Music Management, en la sala Nave Iguana de Alicante.
El festival lo formaron Dr Vulcano, Evolution V, Oscar y la Busband y The Rogers. Buena organización, los responsables de la sala trabajaron duro para ofrecer un buen sonido e iluminación, y las bandas dieron un gran concierto digno de grandes festivales. Pero hubo una pega, una baja asistencia de público.
The Rogers ofrecieron 40 minutos de puro rock & roll, temas nuevos, temas consagrados, y una versión.
El poco público asistente disfrutó del festival. Esperamos que haya una 3ra edición.

The Rogers at the II Levante Connection Fest, organized by United Sounds Music Management, at the Nave Iguana hall in Alicante.
The festival was formed by Dr Vulcano, Evolution V, Oscar and the Busband and The Rogers. Good organization, the people in charge of the hall worked hard to offer good sound and lighting, and the bands gave a great concert worthy of great festivals. But there was a catch, low attendance from the public.
The Rogers offered 40 minutes of pure rock & roll, new songs, established songs, and a cover version.
The little public in attendance enjoyed the festival. We hope there will be a 3rd edition.

The Rogers. Actua Murcia 2019. 18-05-2019.

Segundo mayo consecutivo que The Rogers son invitados a participar en Actúa Murcia organizado por la Cadena SER, en un marco incomparable como los jardines de la Glorieta de España.
Una actuación ante un numeroso público donde The Rogers comenzaron con "Ave rapaz" para sonorización, animando al público desde el principio. El inicio fue con "Rumble" (Link Wray and His Ray Men, 1958), al que le siguió "Bliss man", "Marcelo's song", "Good Man", "Heroes" (David Bowie, 1977) y erminando con "Nada nos puede parar", versión 2019, una versión que va a ser la definitiva y deja este tema engrandecido. El público pidió más, pero ls tiempos estaban muy limitados.
Agradecer a La SER la invitación, y darle la enhorabuena por la organización de este año. Muy buena.

The second consecutive May that The Rogers are invited to participate in Actúa Murcia organized by Cadena SER (Spanish radio), in a beauty setting such as the Glorieta de España gardens.

A performance with a large audience where The Rogers began with "Ave rapaz" for sound, cheering on the audience from the beginning. The beginning was with "Rumble" (Link Wray and His Ray Men, 1958), which was followed by "Bliss man", "Marcelo's song", "Good Man", "Heroes" (David Bowie, 1977) and ending with "Nada nos puede parar", version 2019, a version that is going to be the definitive one and leaves this theme magnified. The public asked for more, but times were very limited.

The Rogers. IV BluesCazorla Blues Battle. 11-04-2020. (2)

Durante el día, pudimos visitar el pueblo de Cazorla, donde nos trataron muy bien, y donde comimos y bebimos abundantemente.
Por la noche, segunda actuación, esta vez en Rick's Cafe. Nos enteramos de la pérdida de un ser querido, y este concierto se lo dedicamos enteramente a él.
Hicimos el mismo repertorio que el día anterior, que gustó al público presente.
Después de estos 2 días, nos quedamos con ganas de más, y de volver a esta tierra.

During the day, we were able to visit the town of Cazorla, where we were treated very well, and where we ate and drank abundantly.
At night, second performance, this time at Rick's Cafe. We knew about the loss of a loved one, and we dedicate this concert entirely to him.
We made the same repertoire as the previous day, which was liked by the public at the site.
After these 2 days, we were left wanting more, and wanting to return to this land.

The Rogers. IV BluesCazorla Blues Battle. 11-04-2020. (1)

30 bandas competimos durante 2 días en este festival de bandas. Tuvo lugar en Cazorla (Jaén - Andalucía). Un fantástico lugar para visitar y comer.
El primer día, Jueves 11 de Abril, actuamos en "La taberna de Chema" un lugar genial donde además de un gran público, conocimos al dueño del local, Chema, un gran amante de la música y del rock.
30 minutos de actuación con nuestros temas más una versión.

30 bands compete during 2 days in this band festival. It took place in Cazorla (Jaén - Andalusia). A fantastic place to visit and eat.
The first day, Thursday April 11th, we performed at "La taberna de Chema", a great place where, in addition to a large audience, we met the owner of the venue, Chema, a great lover of music and rock.
30 minutes of performance with our songs plus a cover version.

The Rogers at Loco Festival. Totana. 05-04-2020

The Rogers estuvimos dándolo todo en este Loco Festival de Acnur, organizado por el IES Juan de la Cierva y Codorniú. Una iniciativa para concienciar sobre los refugiados, y para recaudar fondos y ayudar a estas personas que tienen que dejar sus países muy a su pesar.
Participamos 5 bandas además de actuaciones de danza moderna y actuaciones cómicas.
The Rogers aportó sus temas más conocidos y algunos temas nuevos, e incluyeron una versión de Heroes de David Bowie.

The Rogers were giving a great concert at this UNHCR's Loco Festival, organized by the IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorniú. An initiative to raise awareness about refugees, and to raise funds and help these people who have to leave their countries although they don't want.
5 bands participated in addition to modern dance performances and comedy performances.
The Rogers contributed their best-known themes and some new themes, and included a cover version of Heroes by David Bowie.

The Rogers. Live concert at Monroe's Rock Bar. Torrevieja. 01/03/2019

Casi por sorpresa, The Rogers fuimos incluidos en la Batalla de Bandas que organiza Monroe's Rock Bar. Nos enfrentamos a Madame Babilonia. 2 estilos de rock muy diferentes. The Rogers tocaron un par de temas del LP de 2018, así como un par de nuevos temas y una versión.
Los jueces dieron esta eliminatoria a los babilónicos, grandes tipos.
Un gustazo volver a esta sala que trata tan bien a los músicos. Un gran ambiente.

The Rogers were included in the Battle of the Bands organized by Monroe's Rock Bar. We faced Madame Babilonia. 2 different rock styles. The Rogers played a couple of tracks from the 2018 LP, as well as a couple of new tracks and a cover.
The judges gave this tie to the Babylonians, great guys.
A pleasure to return to this site that treats musicians so well. A great atmosphere.

The Rogers - Back to band rehearsals

Vuelta a los ensayos. Además de seguir tocando los temas del disco "Las mujeres desnudas van con el pelo suelto", hay nuevos temas que empezamos a ensayar, además de incluir alguna versión de clásicos del rock.

Xmas with The Rogers 2018

Cuando termina el año, es momento de mirar atrás y de recordar todos esos grandes momentos vividos durante este año que termina. Grabación y presentación del primer LP de The Rogers (2º trabajo discográfico), conciertos por toda la Región de Murcia, nuevos amigos que hemos conocido, nuevas bandas con las que hemos podido tocar y, por supuesto, el apoyo del público, de amigos y familiares. Sin olvidar el esfuerzo por parte de locales que han confiado en nosotros. GRACIAS.

The year is ending and now, it's time to take a look back to remember about those moments that we have lived. Recording and concert presentation a of first LP by The Rogers (2nd record work), concerts around Region of Murcia, new friends and bands that we have met, and the most important, the support of audience, friends and relatives. The Rogers. Private concert at Musik.

The Rogers fueron invitados a tocar (20/10/2018) junto a Mccroskey y los grandes Fenómenos Extraños (más de 25 años en los escenarios) en el 25 aniversario de la promoción de exalumnos de Maristas.
Una vez más, The Rogers salieron a dar un concierto independientemente del lugar (genial Musik, y su técnico de sonido, Silvio). Porque la forma de actuar de The Rogers es la de darlo todo encima del escenario.

The Rogers were invited to play (October 20th, 2018) alongside Mccroskey and the great Fenómenos Exraños (more than 25 years on stages) on the 25th anniversary of the promotion of Marist alumni.
Once again, The Rogers went to give a concert regardless of the place (great Musik, and his sound technician, Silvio). Because The Rogers' way of acting is to give everything on stage.

The Rogers. Live concert at Zer-Bizio (Moratalla)

The Rogers estuvimos acompañando a Rockweiler (banda madrileña) en la sala Zer-Bizio, en Moratalla (Región de Murcia).
Teníamos 40-45 minutos para tocar, pero el buen ambiente, y las peticiones de bises, hicieron que se alargara nuetra actuación.
Es increible que esta sala, Zer-Bizio, esté programando conciertos practicamente todas las semanas, en una población que no es capital de provincia ni ciudad con muchos habitantes, pero el empeño y el esfuerzo de su dueño, "Tari", ha hecho que Moratalla sea lugar de peregrinaje para las bandas de buena música rock. Un 10 por "Tari".
The Rogers, agradecemos también a Maria Airam de Bin Producciones su invitación para poder formar parte de este concierto.
Y, por supuesto, ese público que se fue entregando a The Rogers conforme fue avanzando el concierto.
Fue una suerte conocer a los miembros de Rockweiler, donde se mostró un gran compañerismo entre las bandas.
Gracias, también, al técnico de sonido, nos lo puso fácil.

The Rogers were accompanying Rockweiler (Madrid band) in the Zer-Bizio concert room, at Moratalla (Region of Murcia).
We had 40-45 minutes to play, but the good atmosphere, and the requests for encores, made our performance lengthen.
It is incredible that this concert-room, Zer-Bizio, is programming concerts almost every week, in a town that is not the capital of a province or a city with many inhabitants, but the commitment and effort of its owner, "Tari", has meant that Moratalla is a place of pilgrimage for bands of good rock music. A 10 for "Tari".
The Rogers, we also thank Maria Airam de Bin Producciones for her invitation to be part of this concert.
And, of course, that audience that was delivered to The Rogers as the concert progressed.
It was fortunate to meet the members of Rockweiler, where a great camaraderie among the bands was shown.
Thanks, too, to the sound technician man, he made it easy for us.

Después de muchos meses de preparación, después de muchos meses de grabación, después de muchas vicisitudes, al fin ha llegado. El primer L.P. de The Rogers: "Las mujeres desnudas van con el pelo suelto". Lanzado el 15 de septiembre de 2018. Este es el 2º CD de The Rogers (en 2017, publicaron un E.P. de 4 canciones: The Rogers).

El 15 de Septiembre de 2018 fue el concierto-presentación del 2º CD, primer L.P. de The Rogers: "Las mujeres desnudas van con el pelo suelto".
Fue un concierto donde The Rogers interpretaron todas las canciones de este L.P. También tocaron las canciones de su primer E.P. (The Rogers, 2017), así como, alguna sorpresa de clásicos del rock. Una gran fiesta entre amigos y fans de The Rogers. Los asistentes tuvieron la oportunidad de poder adquirir, por primera vez, este nuevo disco.
The Rogers os agradecemos a todos y todas vuestro apoyo incondicional así como, os damos las gracias, no, mejor, MUCHAS GRACIAS a todos los que adquirísteis "Las mujeres desnudas van con el pelo suelto".

On September 15, 2018 was the concert-presentation of the 2nd CD, first L.P. from The Rogers: "Las mujeres desnudas van con el pelo suelto" ("Naked women go with their hair down").

The Rogers. Concert at El Fielato Restaurant. 2018-08-04

Después del buen sabor de boca dejado en el concierto de Mayo (aquí enlace a esa publicación), y del gran trato recibido por la gerencia de El Fielato Restaurante, The Rogers volvieron a amenizar la tarde noche con un show de unas 2 horas, donde se mezclaron y maridaron (aprovechando el lugar) a la perfección los temas originales de The Rogers y otros grandes éxitos de la historia del rock (temas de Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, ...).
Un lugar que además de ofrecer música en directo, ofrece unas vistas inmejorables de las montañas de Abanilla. Un restaurante con una carta y unos sabores increibles, que está localizado en una cueva que ellos mismos han rehabilitado. Un lugar muy recomendable.

After the good taste in mouth left in the concert of May (here link to that post), and the great treatment received by the management of El Fielato Restaurant, The Rogers returned to entertain the evening with a show of about 2 hours, where they mixed and combined (taking advantage of the place) the original music themes of The Rogers and other great hits in the history of rock (themes of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, ...).

A place that in addition to offering live music, offers unbeatable views of the mountains of Abanilla. A restaurant with a menu and incredible flavors, located in a cave that they have rehabilitated themselves. A highly recommended place. (Many nights you need a previous reservation, you are advised).

The Rogers. Concert at Blanca. Pub Eskándalo. 22/06/2018

Primera visita de The Rogers a Blanca (Región de Murcia), y, con ganas de repetir, gracias por el trato recibido tanto por el público como por el local (Pub Eskándalo).
Una nueva experiencia, tocando en directo de nuevo a través de la plataforma "Nos vemos en los bares" de la Consejería de juventud de la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia, con AK Producciones, y Momo Productions al sonido.
Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a una pedazo de banda de stoner rock murciana: Copper Age, que dieron un pedazo de concierto tras el realizado por The Rogers.
Tuvimos la suerte, también, de contar con Juan Carlos García de Todo Rock Murcia (una gran página de rock que promociona grupos emergentes tanto de la Región de Murcia como de otras CCAA). Juan Carlos hizo un granreportaje gráfico y videográfico.

A new experience, playing live again through the platform "See you in bars", with AK Productions, and Momo Productions at sound.

The Rogers - A la vieja usanza

Una primera aparición en los medios, quizás es de las cosas que más ilusionan a un grupo que empieza.
El pasado 8 de Junio de 2018, el periodosta Alberto Frutos escribía para La Verdad, en la sección GPS, una reseña que decía, con el título "A la vieja usanza: Con su último trabajo discográfico, 'Las mujeres denudas van con el pelo suelto', The Rogers ofrecen una nueva ración de rock añejo de fuerte influencia norteaméricana con la que afianzan su apuesta por sonidos tan clásicos como guitarreros. Temas directos en su esencia y robustos en su forma con los que la banda murciana continúa marcando su presente y su futuro".

The Rogers. Concert at Café-Bar Porké. 08-06-2018

El pasado 8 de junio de 2018, siguiendo con los conciertos encuadrados en "nos vemos en los bares 2018" organizados por AK Producciones para la Consejería de Cultura de la Región de Murcia, The Rogers actuaron en el Café-Bar Porké, en Puerto Lumbreras (Región de Murcia), junto a Danny Vaughan.

Una grata experiencia para The Rogers ante un público que disfrutó con los temas preparados para esta gira donde el tiempo es oro y está acotado a 45 minutos. Un sonido genial el que dió Guillermo Barranco (M0M0 Production) y que permitió a The Rogers poder lucirse. Fue tan bueno el compañerimo surgido entre The Rogers y Guillermo, que éste salió al escenario a interpretar uno de los temas más divertidos de The Rogers (con el permiso del gran Chuck Berry): Go Rogers Go.

On June 8th, 2018, following the concerts framed in "see you in the bars 2018" organized by AK Productions for the Department of Culture of the Region of Murcia, The Rogers performed at Café-Bar Porké, in Puerto Lumbreras (Region of Murcia), along with Danny Vaughan.

A pleasant experience for The Rogers with an audience that enjoyed the songs prepared for this tour where time is golden and is limited to 45 minutes. A great sound that gave Guillermo Barranco (M0M0 Production) and that allowed The Rogers to show off. It was so good the companion emerged between The Rogers and Guillermo, that he went on stage to play one of the funniest songs of The Rogers (with the permission of the great Chuck Berry): Go Rogers Go.

The Rogers. Concert at Coyote - Cartagena 19-05-2018

Segunda actuación en el mismo día. Después de tocar en la Glorieta de Murcia, por la tarde, The Rogers se trasladaron a Cartagena para tocar junto Circus Rens and the Meatballs (de Holanda), en la sala Coyote Rock Bar.
The Rogers estuvieron tocando en esta sala el 23-06-2017, y la experiencia fue muy grata. En aquella ocasión, The Rogers actuaron en solitario. Esta vez, junto a la banda holandesa, la experiencia ha sido aún mejor. De esta sala hay que decir que el sonido es inmejorable, lástima que el público no apoye a esta sala con su presencia llenándola. Pero hay que agradecer al público asistente lo mucho que se involucraron y se divirtieron.
Gracias también a Circus Rens and the Meatballs por compartir escenario (aquí terminaban su gira española), y a Lamberto por organizarlo (fantástico y divertido concierto el que dieron los holandeses).

Second performance on the same day. After playing at the Glorieta de Murcia, in the afternoon, The Rogers moved to Cartagena to play together Circus Rens and the Meatballs (from Holland), in the Coyote Rock Bar room.

The Rogers were playing in this room on 06-23-2017, and the experience was very pleasant. At that time, The Rogers acted alone. This time, together with the Dutch band, the experience has been even better. From this room we must say that the sound is unbeatable, pity that the public does not support this room with its presence filling it. But we must thank the audience how much they got involved and had fun.

Thanks also to Circus Rens and the Meatballs for sharing the stage (here they finished their Spanish tour), and Lamberto for organizing it (amazing concert by them).

The Rogers. Concert at Glorieta de Murcia 19-05-2018

The Rogers fueron seleccionados para poder actuar en el Actúa Murcia 2018, organizado por la emisora de radio SER y el Ayuntamiento de Murcia.
Fue una breve actuación que sirvió a The Rogers como presentación ante un gran público, y en un día caluroso de mayo. Dió tiempo a tocar 4 canciones (3 de ellas de The Rogers). Grandísima experiencia.

The Rogers were selected to perform at the Actúa Murcia 2018, organized by the radio station: SER and the City of Murcia.

It was a brief performance that served The Rogers as a presentation to a large audience, and on a hot May day. They gave time to play 4 songs (3 of them by The Rogers). Very great experience.

The Rogers: Concert at El Fielato 18-05-2018

Primer concierto de The Rogers en 2018.
The Rogers comenzaron su gira de 2018 en El Fielato Restaurante (Abanilla - Región de Murcia). Un entorno impresionante y el primer concierto de The Rogers al aire libre.
The Rogers tuvieron la oportunidad de tocar algunos de sus temas que saldrán en su primer L.P..
Fue una gran experiencia con una gran atención por parte del local y nuestro primer contacto con un gran ingeniero de sonido como Guillermo Barranco (M0M0 Producción).

First concert of The Rogers in 2018.

The Rogers began their tour in 2018 at El Fielato Restaurant (Abanilla - Region of Murcia). An impressive setting and the first outdoor concert by The Rogers.

The Rogers had the opportunity to play some of their songs that will come out in their first L.P ..

It was a great experience with great attention from the local and our first contact with a great sound engineer like Guillermo Barranco (M0M0 Production).

Concert within "Nos vemos en los bares - See you in the bars" organized by the Counseling of Youth of the Region of Murcia. We share the stage with Carmesí, a great Murcian singer with great projection.

Recording new L.P.

The Rogers están grabando lo que será su nuevo LP. Su primer L.P.
Después de grabar un E.P. de 4 canciones en Fuzz Factory Studios (Murcia) con la producción de Javier Cobretti en Noviembre de 2016, es ahora, cuando han decidido grabar su primer L.P. en los estudios Big Bang Estudios, con la producción, mezcla y masterización de Joan Sona.

Será un trabajo largo,al que The Rogers le dedicarán corzón, alma y talento.

The Rogers are recording a new LP. Their first L.P.
After recording an E.P. of 4 songs at Fuzz Factory Studios (Murcia) with the production of Javier Cobretti in November 2016, it is now, when they have decided to record their first LP at Big Bang Studios, with the production, mixing and mastering by Joan Sona in Murcia.

It will be a long work, to which The Rogers will devote heart, soul and talent.
